One Day, At Central Market....

.    ISigh...Where to begin. Mom, Audrey, Ethan and I (There you go grandma.) We were all at central market, shopping for some vitamins, looking at crabs, and drinking jamba juice. We wandered over to the vitamin aisle. If thats what its called....And My mother proceeded to browse through the hundreds and hundreds of different vitamin supplements. I, being insanely bored out of my mind, started looking through the aisle as well. I saw THESE at the very very back of the shelf. Hmmm...I thought. Am I dreaming? Have I stumbled down a rabbit hole and am now in a parallel universe? No. This is reality folks. And THOSE vitamins are absolutely, without a doubt, real. Daydream Remedy? Really guys? Come on. I'm sure Bach Kids Inc. had a great laugh with this one. "Hey guys, I have a great idea (Starts to chuckle,) howbout we make a medicine that.....(snorts)......(bursts out laughing)......STOPS KIDS FROM DAYDREAMING!!!???.........Oh gosh this is so good......HA HA HA.....oh oh oh here's another one. How bout a medicine that BOOSTS PEOPLES SELF CONFIDENCE?!?!?!? OH LORD, wait till the guys down in corporate hear this one."

By the way. This is not fake. Its completely real. This is a real medicine.

Not a game I want to play....

So on rainy days, my school has board games you can play so you don't get all muddy and wet....anyway, I was going through the deep dark closet when I found this ancient treasure from Oh I would say probably 1982. Now normally that would be fine, but this game was called "Teach your baby to read! 12 easy steps!" Wow, this is a middle school. Isn't one of the requirements that you have to be able to read??? I mean that just struck me as funny...wait wait i'm not done yet. The picture on the bottom left shows what the board game looks like from up above. And when it is zoomed out, it looks pretty innocent, but take a look at the baby zoomed in.....Yup. He/She (I'm not sure of its gender,) Has its finger UP its nose and is smiling blissfully. What has happened to our public education system...

Here it is...The third installment of the greatest show on earth. Ok that isnt true. But I sure think it is!

Value Village.....The walmart of Washington

So My mother told me that we were going to value village. "Oh boy." "Mommmm that is where all the ghetto people shop!" "No honey, thats where the smart people shop." Ugh. So we trekked off to "The village" in search of the deal of a lifetime. No sooner did we walk in, when I found  THIS (Bottom). Now some of you might say, oh that must be a gardening implement of some sort. Sorry to crush your spirits folks. But this was in the aisle marked:  PET SUPPLY   Yes. You heard me right. Oh and those little spears at the end are sharp. Just wanted to throw that out there.                                  


Oh....Were not done yet folks. Let me present exhibit B. (Top and middle) Sigh. What is this world coming to. This is a Ken doll. He is wearing a bathing suit meant for women. It is a bit thong-like. And he is COMPLETELY ENCASED IN PROTECTIVE PLASTIC THAT HAS NOT BEEN OPENED YET!!!!! So obviously, that means the creators of this doll, if thats what you wanna call it, MEANT for it to look like that!!!! Im done....I gotta stop...cuz this could go on for days....

True story....

OK so there I was...on the edge of the cliff about to be strangled to death by my own grandmother..... OK thats another lie...But I know it DID pique your curiosity just a bit.... Anyways, I'm gonna tell you a story.... Now this story is completely NON-fictional.....Don't forget it. So its a Monday morning. I'm doing wretched math homework, and slaving away over my desk when I hear a soft voice....."Juliannnnn?" The voice says...."Uh oh." I  thought...Lets go over whats happening here. Mom is gone running errands. Brother and sister are gone. Its just Claire and I. This could only mean trouble. "Can you come down stairs Julian?" Oh boy....Now i'm scared. What am I going to find when I come down stairs?!?! A dead body? A fire?!?! Two dead bodies?!?!?! I didn't know what to expect but it could only mean trouble. I was right. So I slowly creep down the stairs and when I come to the bottom I see the kitchen. No no...Not the regular kitchen. Th kitchen after hurricane Katrina blasted through it. "CLAIRE. WHAT HAPPENED HERE?" (He says through gritted teeth.) "Mom said I could make a special treat for th dog." Uh huh. In my head I'm just thinking "Ok you cooked something for the dog. But dos it really require blowing up the kitchen!?!?!?" I regained my composure and said, "Ok Claire so your making a dog treat for charm, (Our dog), why do you need me?" "Um because...well...let me answer your question with a question." Oh boy heres our little attorney making her case. "Are dogs allowed to have extra virgin olive oil?" Oh boy. Yep there it is folks. She didn't have a certain ingredient. So the next logical explanation would be to just substitute it with another completely different ingredient right? WRONG!!!!!! So the end result of that story was that we kept the dog outside for the rest of the day...Because we had no idea what would be coming out.

Ok your not going to believe this......I was at the library minding my own business when THIS car caught my eye. Hmmmm, I thought, is that a stuffed animal, or a lucky charm attached to the back of that rednec-I mean american citizens car? No, as I neared the car, and I kid you not, I saw a raccoon tail tied on with a piece of twine. That my friends is all that needs to be said.

I just realized that rock paper scissors is a meaningless game. Okay so your telling me that a piece of paper beats a rock!?!?! Yeah right. Give me a roc

After many years of my *cough*nagging*cough* mother telling me to get a hobby, I finally decided that a blog made completely for boredom was in order.
